Hi ranaharis,

Welcome to Bytes.com! I hope you find the site useful.

To find the line number where an error has occurred you need to turn off Friendly HTTP Error Messages. To do this in Internet Explorer for example you would go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and find the checkbox in the list.

Now when you browse your ASP pages you will see more detailed information about the error including the line number where it occurred.

Hope this helps,

Dr B
