adding to a string

Hey Everyone,

I need some help trying to make a string variable that has values being added to it. Here's my current code...

dim contestsid, listenerid, listener

contestid = Request.QueryString("contests")

set rs = conn.Execute("SELECT listenerid FROM linkup WHERE contestid = '"& contestid &"'")
do until rs.EOF
listenerid = rs("listenerid")
listenerid = listenerid + ","
rs.movenext
loop

response.write(listenerid)

response.end

What i need next is the code to pretty much say "take listnenerid, add the next listernerid value, then add the NEXT listenerid value" ect and so on. Some contests go up to 1000 entires. So the list will get pretty long.

In the example I'm messing with, there should be 3 results being kicked back. I'm trying to get it so the result comes out with 9305,9311,9312.

I hope that makes sense. If someone could help, or point me in the right direction to figure this out. Thanks a bunch and have a great one.

Try:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.  listenerid = listenerid & rs("listenerid") & ", "
Hope that helps
