Problem with renaming of file name

Hi,
I am currently working with an asp page in which the user should be asked to upload a word document. Also after that is done, there will be an option for others to edit that document which was uploaded by the other user. But the problem I am facing is that, once the document file has been edited,it should be saved as new version of the file with some extension or something on the end of the file name, rather than replacing the older file. Can anyone help me in this, how to do it.I am relatively new to asp and web development.
Thanks,
George

this shouldn't be a big problem. show the code you have now, and we should be able to fit it in pretty easily.
