textbox in repeater control

How do i put data in a textbox inside a repeater control.
i cant seem to access its properties by the uswell method of

textbox.text = data

Please give more details of how you are making your pages. What is your IDE? What version of ASP are you using ("classic" ASP or ASP.NET)? In what language are you programming the code?
