Hi Darshini,

Please post your code so we can analyse it for any errors, using [ code=asp] tags around your code.

  1. dim Cus_Det_Cn
  2. set Cus_Det_Cn=server.CreateObject("adodb.connection")
  3. Cus_Det_Cn.ConnectionString =application("constr")
  4. response.Write(constr)
  5. Cus_Det_Cn.Open

Hi Darshini,

What response are you getting from Response.Write(constr)? And have you declared constr in your Application variables in the global.asa file?

This might be an obvious question but have you actually set up a Data Source in your ODBC Data Source Administrator? And are you sure that you have it named the same way in your global.asa file?
