Why can't I see my report?

Good Afternoon Everyone/Anyone,

I posted a couple of days ago about writing files to a folder using CreateTextFile command. I was having a problem writing to a folder that was inside of the wwwroot directory. I removed the site from that directory and have it running locally through another hard drive. So I was able to allieviate that issue. The report is being generated in the correct folder. My problem now, is that the way the site is set up, the page that actually displays the report, which is a page back form the page that creates that report will not let me view the created report. There is an Include file on that page which appears to point to the file that is supposed to appear on the page, however it does not seem to be updating. I was not even familiar with a process that will allow one to manipulate the info within an include file from another .asp page.

I've combed through the code and I'm not seeing anything that gives me a clue.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,

Confused Green

When you use an include file, the contents of the include file are included verbatim into the larger file which uses it. If the include file is in a different directory it is very possible the relative path for other files listed in the include file do not have the same relative path from the other page. To avoid this problem, try using the full virtual path rather than just a relative path.
