SIGN IN page for a Website

Hi there, am wondering if there is a way to add a Sign in page on an already existing website. I would like it to be the first page or be on the MAIN PAGE of the website. I would like it to recognize someone's identifying information and then allow that person to proceed into the section for that group of people.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

I have developed a website using Adobe GoLive software. Should I be using ASP or something else instead of Adobe products???

Yes, there is a way to do it, all you need in an auth page which accept user inputs, i.e. username, password. These details must validated with back-end database.

I would suggest you to use ASP, since it's alot more easier to understand and supports are also readily available on the internet. Good luck & Take care.

I should add that ASP can be written with just about any editor, you add the code where you would add any HTM code, so you can definitely use adobe products to write ASP code.
