Deserializing XML Element sent by a .NET web Service

1
Hi,

I am trying to write a custom code to use the webservice offered by a Server.

I have the proxy class to send a request in XMLElement format.

The Webservice sends the output as XMLElement.

Can you briefly explain how one can deserialize this XMLElement?

in ASP or ASP.NET? I'm afraid I learned ASP before XML objects were supported, so I always opened them and manipulated them the hard way: as strings (which they are).
