How to post data from MS-Access to MS-Excell using ASP !

Please let me know the procedure to post data from MS-Access to MS-Excell using ASP ! as well as Excell to Access ! Plz !

ASP isn't set up to do file type conversions automatically, but you can definitely fidn data from one source and save it into another file. Give a few more details of your set up and requirements and I will try to direct your search for knowledge.

Hi Aniasp,

You need to look into using the Excel ODBC or OLEDB driver. I've never tried retrieving or saving data from/to Excel but I am aware that the principle is extremely similar to retrieving/saving data with Access.

If you are not well-versed in using SQL and ASP for retrieving/storing data then let us know and I'll stick up some sample ASP and SQL code, which should give you a good starting block.
