im wshshell
set wshshell= wscript.createobject("wscript.shell")
wshshell.run ">>>>>>>>"
I think you mean...

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. im wshshell
  2. set wshshell= server.createobject("wscript.shell")
  3. wshshell.run ">>>>>>>>"
  4.
Sincerely,
Mark

Have you run the new code? Did you notice the problem?

You said...
wscript.createobject("wscript.shell")

Which means asp is looking for an object called wscript and is trying to execute the "createobject" method against an object that doesn't exist nor supports the createobject method.

The new code

server.createobject("wscript.shell")

Did you try it?
