Converting to a Masterpage

I have a radioButtonList that works perfectly until I add a masterpage. The original code was:

string temp = Request["WOFound"];

After reading some other posts I tried all of the following but none of them worked.

string temp = WOFound.SelectedIndex.ToString();
string temp = WOFound.SelectedIndex;
string temp = WOFound.SelectedValue.ToString();
string temp = WOFound.SelectedValue;
string temp = WOFound.SelectedItem.ToString();
string temp = WOFound.SelectedItem.Text;
string temp = WOFound.SelectedItem.Value;
string temp = WOFound.Text;

If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it very much.

the earlier code

string temp = Request["WOFound"];

is the correct code to get a value of a radio button. Regarding the masterpage thing is not clear to me. But what seems to me that some how u have duplicate input type named WOFound

Please check your form if u have such problem.
