Provider not installed properly!(SQL AND ASP)

2
HI all,

I have a intranet which runs in SQL server 2000 and uses DBAMGR in the front end..I have a connection string that connects to our ERP system

sql provider is SQLOLEDB... the intranet is fine and it can pull data out of the sql databse but when it tries to connect to the EMS (our ERP system, another database I get the following error)

ADODB.Recordset (0x800A0E7A)
Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.

the driver used is connex32...can somebody please suggest any help???

i tried to re register the DLL and it said succefuly registered but that did not fix the problem

I need help ASAP!!

Welcome to thescripts.com developer network. It sounds like the problem might be earlier, when you set the connection. Have you tried connecting without using a DSN?
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <%
  2. set conn=Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
  3. conn.Provider="Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0"
  4. conn.Open "c:/inetpub/myDB.mdb"
  5. %>
