Help Installing Asp Software On External Host

I have downloaded a ASP reservation software. I have then uploaded all the files in the same format to the external webhosting by using FTP. How do i then configure the software to work on this external server. I am willing to give people access to the account for someone to solve this for me. The instructions state how to install on to a server hosted on your own pc but not external host. Please can someone help me with how i can get this software working. Are there set instructions for installing ASP software on external hosts.
