Web user control is not working in web part in catalog zone

Hi,

plz guide me to asp.net forum if iam wrongly posting here...

Iam using Asp.net 2.0 & VS 2005.

I developed a simple user Control to add 2 values in textbox and display the result in label .

I need to place this in webpart in declarative catalog in catalog zone .

When i place web user control, textboxes are not inside the web part area.
They go left side but my webpart is in right.ie far outside the webpart.

In run mode, wen i type numbers in textbox & click add button ,i dnt get any output in label .

i dont know where iam going wrong ..

Thanks in advance
