what is wrong with this asp code?

here:
set details =("Select * From personal_D where [personal_D]!username=Session("username")")
(WHAT IS WRONG???^)

the username field is a numeric field.
When the user loggs in(before the code that is shown above):
Session("username")=username

Thank you all!

what error do you get? Your post seems to suggest you are getting a type mismsatch. Is that right? If so, you could try forcing the session level variable to an integer variable type before passing the real username.

Looks like just a simple string concatination problem, you should build your entire string first and then pass that to the function, it helps with debuging when you look at your string before using it

ie
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.
  2. set details =("Select * From personal_D where username =" + Session("username"))
  3.
