Help: multiple currencies - how to get conversion rate

anyone got a way of getting the conversion rate from an external provider,
and a suggestion of the best way to automatically impliment the get i.e.
check to see if the current session is the first of the day

Well, searching Google for conversion+rate or exchange+rate will bring up
dozens of websites that do this. It should be easy to find one and figure
out how you need to call it to get the results that you want. The following
link will tell you how to read the contents of a remote web page:

As for figuring out whether it is the first session of the day, just keep a
application variable with the last date you got the conversion rate and see
if it is equal to the current date.
