Print template

I am implementing print template solution. I would like to use it in asp
app. I open new document then generate print preview then print and
finally close preview window, but I am not able to close previewed document.
I try to move document window out of screen - somewhere like
9999999,9999999 position, view preview then print and finnaly close
preview window. Then document window is invisible but still exists.
How can I close the document window after preview??

I belive it would be better solution if I could open printed document in
my ActiveX (with browser ActiveX included) but trying do it I receive
login page :-( . I am not able to share session between document and
implemented ActiveX.

any idea ?

No, instead of going with what you'd like to use, go with what technology
will be able to produce the results you need. ASP and printing are rarely,
if ever, related!

will be able to produce the results you need. ASP and printing are rarely,

I produce HTML document and wanna do some document formating like
removing/adding footer, header, print lanscape and so on. To produce
what I need I use Print Template available in IE 5.5 and later.

A PDF file would more closely do what you want. The problem with doing
it with ASP is the fact that different browsers do different things with
the same HTML code.

I know what you mean - all this browsers nightmare of "different things"
of different browsers.
PDF is a good idea and as well as Crystal Reports features but all I
have is HTML. Do you know any efficient and low cost HTML to PDF
converter that can be used is asp application ?

Not of the top of my head sorry. I have avoided doing anything that
required me to use the PDF format for quite some time. I had some
problems generating forms using an older version that didn't have enough
features for me to use it.
