upload function

I need to write an ASP page with upload file functionality, and I want to
understand the underlying concepts.

The ASP page that has a upload button, and when user click submit button, it
will submit the file to a folder in server.

So in HTTP POST, it will send the content of file to the server, and when it
reach the server, it will create a new file with the filename with the
content of that file?

Please advise. Thanks!!

Here is a pure ASP (i.e. no components) resource for letting the user
upload a file which is something that was unfortunately not built into
ASP:
