CDOSYS fails when an email address includes a hyphen

Anyone's assistance would be greatly appreciated on this one.

When using CDO.message to email a form, I've found that it fails anytime a hyphen is included in an email address. I simply get "Page cannot be displayed"

When using CDONTS, there isn't a problem but I need to use CDO.message as for some reason I cannot get CDONTS to send to a pager and/or cell phone.

What could be the cause of CDO.message failing when a hyphen is detected in any of the To fields??

Thank you!
