ASP form problem

Hello all

I know this is a javascript questions but as most of us use javascript
within the asp I thought someone might know a quick answer to this.

What I am trying do it to set the value of my second textbox to the value in
first text box whenever the value in the first textbox changes. But doesnot
seems to work. The code is below. Any help is appreciated.

thanks
function updatemydate()
{
document.MyForm.todate.value==document.MyForm.from date.value;
return true;
}

<input type="text" name="fromdate" value="" size="10"
onpropertychange="updatemydate()" readonly> <a
href="javascript:cal5.popup();">

As this is a clientside javascript question, it is strictly off topic here.

Please ask a clientside javascript NG.

[btw, a boolean condition needs to be trecefed by "if", or a "="]

This is a comparison, and since it's not in an "if" or "while"
statement, does nothing. You need to use a single "=" instead of
double "==" to turn it into an assignment.
return true;
}
