Jay
ASPNET profile/account was accidentally deleted on NT/2000
platform. Is there anyway to get it back without
reinstalling the whole exchange/IIS services????

Sincerely, J

This is a classic asp newsgroup. While you may be lucky enough to find a
dotnet-savvy person here who can answer your question, you can eliminate the
luck factor by posting your question to an appropriate group. I suggest
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet.

you can reinstall asp.net without reinstalling IIS...
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspne t_regiis.exe -ir

if you have framework version 1.0 you need another path
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\aspne t_regiis.exe -ir

Why can't you just recreate the account?

Bob, as far as I remember, if you delete that account, security has to be
reapplied and ntfs becomes messed up with unknown SID's (from the previous
ASP_NET account)...
