Dear Dutch developers,

In order of an investigation for Microsoft, I would like to ask the
following questions:

- What is it that developers expect from Microsoft?
- Does Microsoft achieve this expectation?
- If it does not, what should be changed to improve this?

These answers will be discussed and might be used to improve the service to
Dutch developers, so please let me hear from you!

Please e-mail your answers to MS*********@hotmail.com
Kindest Regards,

Ralph

I'm also suspicious. Aside from the fact that Microsoft owns Hotmail, why
would an MS employee be telling people to e-mail a hotmail address or be
asking this in here anyway?

Hi Evertjan and Ray,

Yes I am working for Microsoft.
We have done a survey open for all Microsoft Employees here in the
Netherlands to see what we can improve. The 34 best ideas have been
selected from that list. All employees have been grouped so we now have 34
projects to work on. The project I am working on has the topic "Developers
don't know what they can expect from Microsoft".

Therefor we want to know if this is the case indeed. If this is the case,
we want to know what developers expect from Microsoft. Once we know that we
can figure out how to set the expectation right and how and what can we
improve about it.

It's sort of a pilot. If it works in the Netherlands, other countries will
probably follow it.

I'm using my hotmail address for several reasons:
1) I don't want that everyone knows my Microsoft E-mail address and starts
mailing me
2) A hotmail address can be monitored by all members of the project team.

I've just tried to sent an e-mail from my corporate address to Evertjan to
prove that I am from Microsoft, but it came back as undeliverable.

Regards,

Ralph

Hi Ralph,

Yes, it was confirmed yesterday that you are really from Microsoft. Sorry
for the doubts and false accusations!
