So if I'm getting this right you are initialising that variable to 0 in your
Session_OnStart event ?
So basically it looks like your session are actually working otherwise the
Session_OnStart wouldn't trigger, but for some reason your webserver sees
the incomming requests as if they are from different users/sessions.
Are you using the same active browser to do your tests? And if so, are you
creating a new window somehow (popups etc)?
I've noticed before that with certain setting in IE when you create a new
window either through script code or manually by right-clicking a link and
selecting "Open in new window", sometimes the new IE window is considered as
a completely new browser, which causes you to loose your session information
you originally had in the first window.
Since ASP session data is stored in cookies, you migth want to check if your
browser is configured properly to use cookies as well, or if any other
(privacy) software could be blocking them.
hope this helps,

I allways loose the Sessionvariables in my asp-pages (I'm using IIS5.0
with Visual Interdev 6.0).
For Example: when i create a startpage.asp, and type >
Session("PersonalNr") = 456 < he cant remember this value on another page.
when i query this value (for example in endpage.asp):
Response.Write(Session(("PersonalNr")), i get the value 0, because the
session will be restarted (The function "Session_OnStart" will be called
again in the global.asa file)
Does anyone know why ?
