Asp forms :: Snitz vs Webwizard

Which of these two comes out the winner...they still seem a bit behind their
linux freeware counterparts but I have been impressed with the general look
and feel of both.....do any asp'ers have comments on which one crosses the
finish line first?

Probably neither. Most of us write our own code ...

I like Snitz! but I have customized it quite a bit. I have not tried the
latest version but the prior could use a lot of work. I would use more
DHTML rather than the duplicate HTML everywhere which would make it a lot
easier to customize. The new version may be closer to that goal?! They
Snitz guys are a pretty friendly group, and very helpful if you're having
issues.

However, it has an easy enough interface to learn and use. You can actually
be up and running in minutes.
I have not tried the other so...

Snitz! is free for non-commercial use so your reference to 'Linux freeware
counterpart' is confusing since you do not offer any comparisons.

Hi Jason,

I've not used either, but I did get as far as doing the install for Snitz a
while back - I must confess I was *well* impressed with the auto-install
stuff, chuck it a username/password for SQL/Access and it builds all the
tables and stuff itself - something I'd never thought of with my own apps
before, so I like it for that, think I had it running within a few minutes
from install (in its most basic of appearances)...

As Bob says, to be fair I'd rather write my own too - although there are
loads of good forums around these days...

Regards

Rob
