Changing Font Size on <Select> Tag

Is there a way that I can reduce the size of the font on the <select> html
tag? The reason is I have a data that have almost 100+ characters.

Use CSS for this ... goto www.w3schools.com

in the option tag put

style="font: 8pt;"
