Retrieve Email using ADO

I am trying to access a remote email host via ASP to retrieve a list of
messages for the mail account, I have tried the following code to no avail,
any suggestions or pointers would be appreciated.

set popctrl = Server.CreateObject("adodb.connection")
popctrl.Provider = "ExOLEDB.DataSource"
popctrl.Open "mail.company.com",us**@mail.com,"passwd"

Is such a thing even possible with ADO? I'm guessing you need a third party
control, like JMail Pro, or ASPPop.

But, debugging what you've posted, ought there to be quotes around the
username?
