ASP Strange Problem

Emo
Hello.
I installed OpenWiki Web base application on Windows 2000
SP3, IIS 5.0 Server. When i try to connect to the OpenWiki
Web page I get the following weird error message:
Error:
Probable cause: Registry permission problem.

This is a known problem with Microsoft.
You can find more information about this problem in
the following Microsoft knowledge base article.

It is reffering me to the following article, but it does
not look like this is my case.

Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 274038
When I go to the the article its not really clear what to
do there. somehow when I invoke the default ASP page then
it tries to execute some VBscript and Windows registry
does not allow it

I installed the OpenWiki application o different Win2K PC's
and it works fine on them, just on this Server it will not.
Help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

It is probaly not the windows registry that is your problem. Check the
userID that the ASP Web Service is running under in the Services section of
the Control Panel it is probably limited to writing/reading the Registry.

I am not sure of the exact service name but it would be either IIS or ASP or
Web something look at the LogOn tab when you open the service's properties
dialog box. Try setting it to the local admin's account as a test and then
restart the service.
