What steps can we take to confirm our IIS metabase is intact?

I think we have a corrupt IIS metabase on our web cluster. The controller
is replicating the problem to the members.

What steps can we take to confirm our IIS metabase is intact? I would
prefer not to do ADSI calls. Isn't there a command to interate thru the
metabase?

Many thanks,

Keith

I'm not aware of anything already built to iterate through
the metabase; however, IIS ships with a vbscript utility
that allos you to view and change any metabase property.
Check out this MS article that describes it:

There used to be a "metabase editor" called MetaEdit with the IIS resource
kit. I don't know if it is available for IIS 5+ or not. You might search for
"metaedit" on MSDN.
