Creating HTML eMail with CDONTS

Hi Gang

I can create an email with ASP's using CDONTS and this works well. I'd like
to format the email as HTML. Can I do this with ASP's and CDONTS?

Regards,
Andy

Create an html string like:

sBody = "<html><head><title>An e-mail</title></head><body>Hi<br>Here's an
e-mail.</body></html>"

Then use .BodyFormat=1 to specify HTML.

If you are using a server more recent than Windows NT 4.0, you should switch
over to CDO, as CDONTS has been discontinued.

BodyFormat
An integer value which sets the text format of NewMail Object.

ObjMail.BodyFormat = 0 (HTML format)
ObjMail.BodyFormat = 1 (default Plain Text format)
