Downloading Issue

P: 1
I have a serious issue with my Intranet Site. I originally developed the Intranet Site on Windows Server 2000. I have since moved it to Windows Server 2003. Since the move, downloads hang and page loads hang if they contain pictures, or Flash objects. Also if you map a drive to the web server pictures take a while to load if they load at all in thumbnail view. You have to change to Details to keep the explorer window from crashing. When you open the picture it takes about 30 to 60 seconds to view. I use ASP.Net and IIS Version 6. My server is configured as an Application Server, File Server, and Streaming Media Server. I am at a loss, I have checked everything I can think of. I have even setup different application pools inside IIS for the pages that are graphic intensive. Can anyone think of what I might be missing.

Hi there,

Is your intranet server running behind a firewall? Is there any antivirus running on your intranet server? Are you any proxy transaction involved in your LAN, meaning any proxy server around? What is the initial Script.TimeOut value set to?

Try increasing the Script.TimeOut value. Take care my fren.. :)
