Remove items from a list

Here's my list:
required = "street_name, city, zip, country, email, phone, url,
username, password"
notrequired = "email, url"

So what I need to do is take email and url from the required list and
make a new list.

I've got a bad cold, and my brain doesn't seem to be functioning
correctly. I just can't seem to make this work without either
truncating the result incorrectly, or getting duplicate values.

I would appreciate any ideas on this.

Thanks in advance.
