how to reduce the image size

how to reduce the image size ...
i mean pixels when the user uploads
their image...
when the user uploads an image with 200*200 pixels means i want to
reduce the size to 100*100 pixels....and upload it..

i am working with asp using javascript

hi,
I would like to know which component you are using for ASP upload.
If you are using Chesty soft .You have a component named as csImageFile.
MaxWidth = 320
MaxHeight = 300
Image.ResizeFit MaxWidth, MaxHeight
You can change the width and height of the image
you visit chestysoft.com

thanks fro ur suggestion..
i am not using any component..

simply i have a file upload option..
where the user can browse and select image ..
and when they click upload means the image path will get stored in database,...
but i want to reduce the image size...

can u help me out
