ASP page works on IIS 5, not on 6

I need some help... I am getting a Type Mismatch error on
an ASP page that works fine on the a W2K server with IIS
5, but I have an exact copy of all the pages, code and
SQL server on a Windows 2003 Server with IIS 6.

I can get some of the pages to work, so I think the dll
is fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Any idea why it works perfectly with the old setup? Does
IIS (or something else) do something different with
datatypes that the old versions didn't?

Check your datatypes in the SQL database for the field that is causingthe error. Usually this will happen in your SQL statment if you have astring data field and are referencing it as an integer. Or vise versa.

Hi Mike,

Can you find which line the error occur with in your code?

Luke

"Microsoft Security Announcement: Have you installed the patch for
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-026?? If not Microsoft strongly advises
you to review the information at the following link regarding Microsoft
Security Bulletin MS03-026
http://www.microsoft.com/security/se...s/ms03-026.asp and/or to
visit Windows Update at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com to install the
patch. Running the SCAN program from the Windows Update site will help to
insure you are current with all security patches, not just MS03-026."
