"&" sign problem

HI ,

I am passing few parameters from one page to another.
One of the parameters is order number.
In one particular case the order number includes "&"
sign : FE:.AT&T001

Next page reads the order number as "AT" only (not the
full oredrr.

I put double quotes around the order number.

Did not help.

Any clue???
The help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Greg

& is a "reserved" querystring character. Have you tried
Server.HTMLEncode()?

Server.URLEncode your querystring. i.e.

<A
href=page.asp?something=<%=Server.URLEncode("dfkaj sdf&83#&#$Q*Q#RHSDF8sadf")
%>">click me</A>
