managing the editing of an internet site with asp

Hi. I will set up an internett site for a friend that has a company.

He want to be able to enter the site via an intranet an make the
changes in the text him self. I guess this is a common way to do
a part of the job, and leave the rest of the job for the web master.

Is there some free tools I can use to offer this functionality using
ASP? What are the most used way to do this and should I perhaps
start reading some books on this subject? Any recomandations?

Thanks for any hint or suggestions.

If you can get yourself a copy of Dreamweaver MX - it has superb tutorials
on ASP as well as all the tools you need to create ASP pages via a Graphical
Interface.

I think Front Page may also do this, but I haven't used it in years.

You may want to read about ASP or take a few tutorials first, its fairly
easy to pick up if you have done a lot of web design and some programming in
the past.

Thanks,

Gary.

Thanks Gary! I use Frontpage 2000 but I have not seen any tutorial on ASP
and no
tools to create ASP pages via a Graphical Interface. That sure sounds like
what I would
need.
Thanks again for your answer.
