Stored Procedure Problem

I have been working on a program where a stored procedure is executed and the results are displayed.

The code works perfectly on my local server and gives the desired output. But when I upload the same on a live server it gives me an error:

Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.

Can somone help? this is how I am executing the procedure:

set rsNew = Con.Execute("Contract_EMail "& iEventid &"")
if not rsNew.EOF then
.........
end if
rsNew.close

are you using DSN connection? check the the connection string.. make sure it's pointing to the correct address of the database server.. good luck my fren..

Thanks for your reply.
I have checked the connection and it is working fine. All my other procedures, views and queries are running perfectly.
