how to configure IIS for sending mail from ASP.NET application

Hi,

I am learning ASP.NET , I want to send mail from my application so I
need to configure IIS.

I have written code for it but my mail is in Queue or Droped. I think I
have not configured IIS properly.

Can anyone tell me in detail how to configure it.
Thanks
