Form to Email with browsed attachment

I know this is a most comman question and everyone is proberly sick of hearing it, but im a newby to ASP (love that html) and i cant seem to find out how to send a CV from an asp database driven page to a static email address. i hear alot about cydonts and other stuff but i try them and get no response, i look at the forums and dont understand the answers given, i have checked google for a script with no luck... please can someone explain how i can do this in very basic english. and save my sanity
