: This is more of a flash recommendation question than ASP related, but I
: use this forum a lot, so wanted to see if anyone can answer.
That's really not a good reason to ask an OT question. People may be very
helpful here but newsgroups are organized by topic.
: My page header is flash. One the header is flash. It's about 500KB.
Not sure what that means. Single page or frameset? A page header to me is
where my values go when I POST a form.
: 2 questions.
:
: 1. Do you recommend keeping flash in the header so it loads on each
: page, or creating a second image to replace the header on all the
: secondary pages.
I don't recommend using flash if it is used for navigation. Search engines
don't like it for obvious reasons.
: 2. If someone views the flash header once, do they download it each time
: for each page, or does it cache?
It probably depends on their browser settings and if the flash performs
navigation.
: My point is that I do not want to kill my bandwidth.
Then text only is preferred.
