tracking emails?

anyone know a good way of tracking an email so that i know if theyve been
opened? and preferably somethign where i can identify the recipient
(matching with our crm)?

there is no 100% effective way. Never has. This is why email is not
considered all that reliable. You can turn on the "read receipt" but it's up
to the person receiving it if they want to allow this.
