High server load (100%) caused by ASP database application

Hi all

I am making a website for my brother in asp and it uses quite a lot of database connections.

The problem is after a while (few days recently) the server load gets to 100% and the site becomes unaccessible.

I adjusted the code and made sure evry recordset I open, gets closed again and that evry connection I open gets closed aswell. At the end of each page i set them back to nothing aswell (set ... = nothing)

Are there any other trics I need to know so that the server load will become normal (which is a lot lower) At the moment the server administrator says that I use too many resources.

Thx for any useful information (btw i dont use any libraryies, just ADO connections)
