Reflect Changes to Code Behind Page

Hi,

I just inhereted a website. I made a change to a simple SQL string in a
..aspx.vb page. If I don't have Visual Studio, is there a way to
"publish" the pages and show my changes?

thanks very much,
Paul

Seems like you should be able to FTP the page up to the live site if you
have FTP software (which one can even get free at places like
www.tucows.com) and know the FTP username and password...

There was no way for you to know it, but this is a classic asp newsgroup.
While you may be lucky enough to find a dotnet-savvy person here who can
answer your question, you can eliminate the luck factor by posting your
question to a newsgroup where the dotnet-savvy people hang out. I suggest
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet.

You will need to use the command-line compiler to rebuild the application.

Please reply to the newsgroup. The email account listed in my From
header is my spam trap, so I don't check it very often. You will get a
quicker response by posting to the newsgroup.

Bob,

thanks for the reply, and the tip about the correct newsgroup. I'll
check it out.

thanks,
Paul
