ASP Remittance application?

Abs
Hi everyone,

Someone has contacted me regarding the development of a international money
transfer application (much much smaller scale than Western Union - and will
focus on one country)

Initially i thought this could easily be done by paypal, but i'm not sure if
it sends the right image and whether their app will actually meet my needs.

This might be a long as but do you know of any companies who are specialist
in developing such apps preferably in ASP or a better way to execute this?

Thanks

Hopefully not Nigeria! :)

Are you asking if I have any tips for your requirements?

P.S. The Nigeria reference refers to a common spam technique:

"... US$14.5 million which my colleagues and I now want to transfer
out of Nigeria into a reliable foreign account for our personal use ..."

Actually i never saw this bit in your original post "What are the
requirements of an (your) "international money transfer application".

Basically, from a user's point of view... go to the site. Have an account
where you can register, view past transactions, set up subscriptions
(regular payments) etc... the system generates at least three copies of an
email with the details of the transaction and a unique transaction ID. The
intended recipient then goes to the bank or a collection point to retrieve
their money.

So for starters nothing too complex... obviously security is of foremost
concern and whatever channel the money goes through (Paypal, Worldpay and
the like) will have to offer fraud protection which will be paid for if
necessary.

Sorry but i don't know what is top-posting... i responded the same way i've
always done for the past few years.. apologies if i've inadvertently done it
again.

I'm not sure what top posting is
