Here's the scenario. I'm currently using cdosys/asp to send mail to our SMTP server. We use a product called MailFilter to check for SPAM. It doesn't work very well. If MailFilter isn't working cdosys also has problems and emails don't get sent. As these email are confirmations for customer's bookings this means lots of customers calling to see where their confirmation emails have gone. The root of the problem is MailFilter but that here...

Right guys. (I would like a solution to this in VB6 as this is what our needy app is written in, but any solutions that involve .NET would be much appreciated likewise as I could instantiate them, otherwise please forgive the crossposting.) I'm sure I've seen posts here before criticising the practice of automating outlook for the purpose of programatically sending email, on the grounds that it's naff. Well now we're really landed in...

I encountered a problem sending an email on my windows XP, which I thought was a bit weird, cause it worked for me before on windows XP. So I tried on some other computers with windows XP, and managed to send emails on the systems where outlook was not installed. So I'm pretty sure the problem lies in outlook using exchange server. Does anyone know how to solve this, maybe send the mail to the exchange server or outlook instead. I dont...

Hello, I develop an ASP.NET 2.0 Intranet with a feature of sending messages through an Exchange Server 2003. For e-mails sending, all passes well. We have a Fax solution (RTEFAX) with Exchange connector who allows us to send faxes from Outlook with the syntax , however when I try to send a fax from my aspx page in the same way as from Outlook, I receive the following message : "The specified string is not in the form required for an...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
