How to change the names of types in the wdsl generated by

Hi

I have the following class:

namespace CSWWebServices
{
public class HistoryField<T>
{
private T m_name;
private string m_value = string.Empty;

public T Name
{
get { return m_name; }
set { m_name = value; }
}

public string Value
{
get { return m_value; }
set { m_value = value; }
}

public HistoryField()
{
}
};

/// <summary>
/// Summary description for ManagementInfor mationRequest
/// </summary>
public class ManagementInfor mationRequest
{
public enum Call
{
Unknown = 0,
NUMBER_MATCHES_ TURRET,
CALLERS_NUMBER,
}

public enum Policy
{
Unknown = 0,
CUSTOMER_TYPE
}

private HistoryField<Ca ll>[] m_callHistoryFi eld = null;
private HistoryField<Po licy>[] m_policyHistory Field = null;

public ManagementInfor mationRequest()
{
//
// TODO: Add constructor logic here
//
}

/// <summary>
///
/// </summary>
[XmlArray("CallH istoryFields")]
[XmlArrayItem("C allHistoryField ")]
public HistoryField<Ca ll>[] CallHistoryFiel d
{
get
{
return m_callHistoryFi eld;
}
set
{
m_callHistoryFi eld = value;
}
}

/// <summary>
///
/// </summary>
[XmlArray("Polic yHistoryFields" )]
[XmlArrayItem("P olicyHistoryFie ld")]
public HistoryField<Po licy>[] PolicyHistoryFi eld
{
get
{
return m_policyHistory Field;
}
set
{
m_policyHistory Field = value;
}
}
}
}

The type name genereated for the public HistoryField<Po licy>[]
PolicyHistoryFi eld in the client app looks like this

namespace CSUI.Management InformationWebS ervice
{
[Serializable]
[DesignerCategor y("code")]
[XmlType(Namespa ce = "v1.services.cs w.scotw.co.uk")]
[GeneratedCode(" System.Xml", "2.0.50727. 42")]
[DebuggerStepThr ough]
public class HistoryFieldOfC all
{
public HistoryFieldOfC all();

public Call Name { get; set; }
public string Value { get; set; }
}
}

I want change the generated name from 'HistoryFieldOf Call' to
'CallHistoryFie ld', can anyone tell me how on earth to do this?

Dear Friends I need to change the css file of my aspx files dynamically so users can choose their css file names and when page loads, it read css file name from database. I try to use response.write to write this way: Dim i As Integer = 1 If i = 1 Then Response.Write("<LINK href=""Stylesone.css"" type=""text/css"" rel=""stylesheet"">") Response.Write("<script language =""javascript"" src = ""testone.js"">

I think FAQ 2.15 ("How can I access structure fields by name at run time?") answers my question, but I don't like the answer ;) I have a struct like this: struct config_struct { char file_dir; char debug_dir; /* and many more */ } config;

Before I embark on a new long-term project I'd appreciate your advice on how to split up long names. I would like to keep the standards for command names the same as that for variable names. Looking at the examples below, which ones seem better? Straight names echoclient lastcharoffset helloworld Internal underscores

I have 2 grids - one shows a list of table names in a database and when you click on a table name the other grid dynamically populates the grid with the table contents. My problem is that I cannot get any changes I do in the grid of a given table saved back to the database unless I nominate a particular table in the SQLDataAdapter but this is not dynamic as the table changes when the user picks another table I have the first part working...

I apologize in advance for re-asking a question that I posed before. I understand a little more than i did before and I am posing 2 specific questions: I need to write an application that sends orders to a non-Windows web service. 1) I received DTD files for the SOAP messages that I need to send. I was able to convert them to XSD files. Upon examination of the files it is apparent that the XSD does not match the database in any way. so...

Hi all, Can you let me know if there is a standard naming convention for webservice methods ? I have seen some with a lower case first letter and some with an upper case first letter. Also what is the standard naming convention for the properties of classes passed into the methods? We have to implement web services in .NET and Java and they need to use exactly the same naming convention for the exposed methods.

Hi, I'm building a simple "look up" web method that would return a table with 9 columns and a dynamic number of rows, then I find out datatables cannot be serialized. Not a big deal the .Net 1.1 client works with dataset. But it got me thinking that I might as well deliver this in a neutral format, since it's such a terribly simple return set I figured use standard types and that would mean a 2 dimensional string array. (rather than a...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
