I am new to Access 2000. My operating system is Windows 2000. In the early stage of development I noticed something weird. On my form, I have a Command Button named "btnAlbumUp". The first time that I reference this button in VBA code, the Visual Basic Editor capitalizes the P changing btnAlbumUp.SetFocus to

Hi, I am running into a problem of mixing UICulture = auto and allowing users to select culture using a dropdown list. I am detecting a querystring, "setlang", and when found, setting the CurrentUICulture to what's specified in the querystring. Since I want to allow UICulture auto detecting, I add UICulture = "auto" to page directive on each page.

I would like to instruct a grid which autofill's the columns to exclude time or date from a date field when date or time is 0. Date and time can be stored in a date field, my grid shows for example: 30-12-1899 13:23:12 Or: 15-11-2005 0:00:00

I'm creating an Access Database 2003 for our Human Resource Dept. In the form, I will be adding a calendar wherein there will be date of hire, start date, etc. I need to be able to view the calendar to pick the date and I also need to auto calculate days. For example: if I start on 10/1/07, I need it to auto calculate on my next field +30, my next field will be +45 and my next field would be +90. What language do I use to do this and how do...

I am working with a database now and need some guidance. I am attempting to input an auto calculation. I have the ability to enter a date in a text box on a form. I want to be able to have another field that auto calcuates 90 days later and simiply displays that date. The auto calculated date does NOT have to be assiocated with a field in any table, just a caculation in what I believe would be referred to an unbounded box. For example,...

Hi all, I’m trying to create a form with 15 fields that generates an auto number in one of those 15 fields. The auto generated number which should display like this – “081-2008-00001” “081-2008-00002” “081-2008-00003” and so on. The first 3 characters of those numbers are pulled in from one of the field, namely “Building #”. The second set of 4 digit numbers are nothing but the current year which gets pulled from another field namely...

I need to be able to allow the user to set up paramaters to auto select a future date based on the current date which auto populates. This form will be used to print a traffic citation. The officer opens the form and inputs the values for offender information, vehicle information, etc. When the officer gets to the court...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
