Passing Variables Without Request.Queryst ring...

Hi all,
I have my index.html where I have two frames:

<frameset rows="144,*" border="0" frameborder="no ">
<frame src="header.htm l" frameborder="no " noresize scrolling="no">
<frame src="rightFrame .html" name="frontpage " frameborder="no "
noresize>
</frameset>

I wanted the top of the site to stay in tact while the bottom
constantly changes. With using this structure, I can't figure out how
to pass variables from one page to another in the "frontpage" frame.

What I want is a jive, old list of links on a page within the
"frontpage" frame that all point to the same page, but passes a
specific category id to the next page so that it knows what data to
display. Where I am confused is how to do this when the URL never
changes. Is there a way to set a session variable onClick? If so, how
would I go about doing this?

Thanks,
h

Hi folks ! got this problem... i have a table 'Accounts' in my database, which contains a bunch of users. From the main menu i choose "edit user" and all users in the db are presented in a table. The first column 'Pnr' is a unique ID for each user that i made appear as a link. clicking on one userID should present a form where the picked users userdata is already filled in so i can easily edit it and then move on to submit the form to...

Any ideas on how I can set some data in 1.asp, then have 1.asp do a server.transfer (or .execute, come to that) to 2.asp, and have 2.asp access the original data? I'm aware that the Session object fits the bill but want to avoid using this if I can. Having said that, the nature of the data is very much per-user so things like the application object are definitely inappropriate. Another way I can do this is redirect/querystring, but...

I have this little tell-a-friend script that will send out a link back to the site. I want to put a link on my product pages that will go to the script, and have the script display the product name, and have the product name in the email that goes out, along with a link back to the product page, instead of just to the general site, and then have the Thank You page include a link back to the product. I put it up as a project on a...

I've got an asp.net application with a page that collects user info via forms and I'd like to have those values then passed to a 2nd page for a continuation which makes use of the entered values from the previous page. One way that I could think of would be to have the submit button's event handler call response.redirect with a querystring attached on based on values that I could attach on. First question: Could I do the same thing but...

I can't find the answer to this because I don't know what it's called. I want to e-mail my users a link that is customized to them. For example I want them to click on the link and have the E-mail Textbox already filled out with their e-mail address. So I believe I want to send them a URL that looks something like http://site.com/page.aspx?Email=user1@domain.com. How do I grab that e-mail address in my ASP.NET page though?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
