Don't use .Sort

Use an SQL statement, and use the ORDER BY clause instead.

Is there any way to maintain the sort order of a sort on a 2D array? For example: I have the array: 1,a 2,a 3,f 4,a 5,s 6,a 7,z 8,b and sort it by the second column, and I get: 4,a 6,a 1,a 2,a 8,b 3,f 5,s 7,z

I am having a major issue with strongly typed datasets. I have been using the Server Explorer in VS.net 2003 to add tables from the database into a DataSet. I cannot access the rows or columns of some of the DataTables. What can I do to fix this, or why can I not do this? I cannot find any information on the topic. Here is an example: TypedDataSet ds = new TypedDataSet(); // fill tables

Hi, Can we create an array of user defined dimensions in the following way:? 1 Create a class( say CONSTANT) whose lone datamember is an integer which is called say num. 2 In the public section we build a constructor function to accept user defined values. 3 We create a function to access that integer. 4 Now in this class there is no function which can alter the value of 'num'. 5 In the main we create a class of the afore mentioned...

I inherited a database. On one of the forms, a bunch of fields on the form are to be updated with data from a combo box containing many columns after one particular field is updated. I'm receiving an error message "Field cannot be a zero length string." I do have some records with null values for a few fields - no way around that. How can I prevent the error message from occurring? Here's a sample of the code... Me! = Me!.Column(9) Me!...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
