personally I'd rethink this.
Store the image on the HD and keep the path/link in the DB.
Life will be MUCH easier for you.

I can't insert an image using the "add a new stylesheet" function- the function, on dreamweaver MX (i'm on Windows 2k Pro) seems to work as it generates the code... but the image never shows up in the background. I've tried it on multiple HTML pages. I've even tried taking the BG image out and seeing if just setting a black BG color works - it doesn't. If I add in the BACKGROUND="" to the BODY tag manually, it works fine. Everything...

Hello all! I've got a big bunch of pages using tables for layout. Eventually I'll get them set up with more modernized code, but in the meantime I'd like to slip in a little quick holiday decoration. I'd like to insert a table cell with a fixed width (as much as such things can be fixed) and a repeating garland background so as to show up along the left side of the table, repeating down its length. Our site has a couple thousand...

Can anyone help. I would like to create a table that contains references to a series of JPG files, so that I can view each image and related data in a form, page by page. It seems that the only way to insert the reference to the image is using the "Insert Image" dialog box, and with my long list of images, I'll be old & gray by the time I am done. What I really want to do is type in the list of filenames (or cut&paste), and have them...

I am trying to use a stored procedure to insert a record using VS 2005, VB and SQL Server Express. The code runs without errors or exceptions, and returns the new identifer in the output parameters. It returns my error text message in another output parameter as "ok", which is the value that is set in the stored procedure prior to doing the insert. It returns my var for @@rowcount as 1. However, the record does not get into the table. ...

Greetings - I have found very little definitive information on this. From what I can surmize at some point the ability to update an image in the gridview using the imagefield was removed from the final version of asp.net 2.0? If this is the case, does anyone have any work arounds for how to use a edit template to allow a user to browse and upload a replacement image when editing a row? If this is not the case, what is the trick to get...

Hello I've got a rather tricky problem here - i'm looking to insert a graph into a web page - which is represented as a jpeg image. Due to the restrictions of the framework i'm developing against, the data for the graph is only stored in the HTTPContext's Items collection, so the page that displays the graph is the only one with the data.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
