ASP scripts stop working

I have Windows 2000 Server on an Intel machine.
Periodically IIS returns an HTTP 500 error when anybody
clicks on an asp script. Regular HTML pages are displayed
without a problem. The problem gets corrected whenever I
reboot the server. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

I have a PHP script that should be run a few times a day. Currently I run this script manually as I haven't been able to set up Lynx or wget to run it as a cronjob. Or to be more specific: the script works, but both wget and Lynx fail after 10 or 20 redirects, then it warns: wget: 20 redirections exceeded. Lynx: Alert!: Redirection limit of...

I have 2 scipts that I am trying to get to run on the same page. One is a time/date script, the other is a countdown script (i.e. countdown days, hours, mins until a given date). They both work independent of each other, however, when both are on the page, the "active clock" does not work. I am assuming it is because some of the variables...

Situation: New server running Win2k3 with Active Directory. DB2 scripts run fine in Task Center. Windows (OS) command scripts do not complete on their own. db2admin stop/start finishes the task. A look in the Journal on job history shows job output, but no completion times. Even a very simple script doesn't complete (e.g:

This is my first post to this forum: I use ASP occasionally but don't know a lot of it, and the Windows IIS was invented by MS to torture me :) So I'm not sure if this should be herre or on the IIS area, but here goes: For the local mirror on my development PC of a site I've been managing for some years, I use the built in IIS (XP pro sp2) to...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
